The SMS service project is designed to deliver important alerts concerning passengers as well as various projects. It ensures that critical passenger-related information is communicated through SMS in a timely manner. Depending on the nature of the update, the service will send different types of messages. The selected bidder shall be responsible for executing the following activities: Provide SMS alert services as per the quantity mentioned in Annexure-1, with technical support. SMS must be sent using Sender ID IRSMSA, which is exempted by TRAI from SMS service termination charges. Develop and provide secure web services to integrate various CRIS systems/applications for sending SMS alerts. Develop custom application and tailor solutions as per CRIS requirement for sending SMS alerts, including CSV-based notifications (e.g., train delay, cancellation). |
